New Fitbit

Saturday, June 06, 2020

Well, since I decided to balloon up over 45 pounds, I haven't had a working fitbit in a while. There wasn't anything to track form the couch.

I got a Versa 2 today at Walmart and have spent the better part of an hour trying to figure out how to set it up. OMG - are things just that complex or did I get old and senile in the last 2 years. But I finally have it showing the time. Woo Hoo for the braindead!

Now to actully get some movement on the dumb thing (I think it's still out smarting me).

Tazzy is still with me. She'll be 11 soon. We have to walk in the evening so it's cooler for her now. I hope this makes her healthier too.

I'm pretty certain I introduced Dizzy before I left last time. Pittbull = LAZY. Took her for a walk last night and practically had to drag her the last 3 blocks. We did just over 1 mile.

I know these blogs are boring, I think I'm just trying to get used to writing again. Here we go!

Hey girl, HEY! My goodness I've missed you! I've been flitting around SP on and off all year, and I guess I'm back on again. I started off our social distancing phase by walking, eating well and generally paying attention to my own well-being. Then I discovered food delivery app. I am afraid to get back on the scale, but I can tell you that my clothes don't quite fit..

I, too, am having Fitbit issues. Mine is on its very last legs. The screen is shattered but my iPhone still picks up my steps. Now the clip is broken and the thing takes forever to charge. I purchased the Inspire online to replace my One. I can't deal with wearing a fitness tracker on my wrist, and the Inspire can be taken out of it's bracket and put into a clip (sold separately, of course.)

Spazzy Tazzy is 11?! MY LORD time flies. Punim is 9 and really, really showing his age. I can't even get him to go a mile most days. So I'm on my own. I haven't been very good about walking on my own, but it's what I'm gonna have to do. XOXOXOXO

Happy to hear your Tazzy is still around! How old is Dizzy now? I have a little pooch, Daisy, who is 13, and a tenacious little thing!

I like low tech, myself, and then my kids go and get me an apple watch for Christmas last year. I still don't know how to work everything on it!

I have a lot in common with Dizzy - I too dragged through the end of my workout yesterday.

Not boring to me. So good to hear from you. I have been a lazy bum since the pandemic. I changed my schedule & I'm working longer hours...in the office 2 days, teleworking 2 days. My gym finally reopens part-time on Monday.

I do remember Tazzy and Dizzy.

I know you will figure out the Versa. I got a Fitbit Inspire about a year ago. My One was acting up after several years. I liked the Inspire because it was one that could be worn in a clip. I much prefer those over the watch type. Luckily, hubby set it up for me.

    Welcome Back!
