I'm sure the phrase is used elsewhere, but I know it from the professional wrestling context, when a character who was previously a babyface (good guy) does something to get the crowd to turn against him, and see him as a bad guy, aka a heel.
Played pickleball today, as I have on a three occasions since the previous entry, and really, today is the first time in that period that my foot/heel has really bothered me. Although, now, three hours later, it feels decent. Guess I'll see how it is in the morning. I did push it a bit today, going three hours out at the park, with a lot of breaks and a lot of gatorade and water, even though I was feeling sluggish and slow and playing generally very crappy. Still had some fun though, and the couple hours of exercise that I think I got (phone ran out of juice at some point) should eventually show up on the scale, right? It hasn't so far, which is kind of annoying. But maybe eventually I'll start reversing the 8 pounds I found during the quarantine period.
