Today I received a note signed with the words, "We Can Do It!"
Wow - Those words ring with hope; They bring courage to my heart and I feel energized to continue on.
To begin, I put my goals in writing. Today I felt encouraged to set new goals.
and to record my intentions
1. I want to become as strong and healthy as possible.
2. I want to continue to grow in compassion and awareness.
Hmmm - I seem to remember that there is more to it. Ah, Yes. I need to do more than SAY the words
If I want to see a real change I need to ask myself these questions:
WHAT WILL IT TAKE TO PUT MY WORDS INTO ACTION?
I need to make them a real priority. I can't wait for an opportunity to show itself or for the day I feel like doing what I said I would do.
Therefore I need to focus on my intentions early in the day.
WHAT STEPS DID I TAKE TODAY TO MAKE MY WORDS A REALITY?
Today I planned my food to include more freggies.
Today I made my grocery list based on my menus for the next week
Speaking the words is only the beginning.
I want my life to show that I am serious about becoming more healthy and more compassionate.
I'm thinking that the words "We Can Do It" mean more than "we are ABLE to do it."
Yes, I AM able to do it. Now I'm wondering what difference it will make
if I focus on the actual "getting it done" part.
