All the quarantine has caused so many to be isolated. Although I miss my friends one thing I am really missing is quiet time. I hesitate to talk about it because I don’t want to sound like I am complaining. I love my big crazy family!
Back in February my routine was very different. I had a son away at college, 2 in middle school and my 4 yo went to preschool 4 days a week. So 4 days a week I had 3 hours of time I could spend however I chose. Fast forward to now. My college son moved home, and all the boys are home full time. We have had 4 foster placements.
Today I took a rare quiet LONG walk by myself. My mind is clear and calm. My mood is better. I feel a peace that has been missing.
