One Week Weigh-In Results

This morning was my one week weigh-in. I lost 4.2 lbs. I was hoping for more, but I will take it! I did not cheat and I ate only healthy foods. I tracked everything that I ate and started exercising some in the last 4 days. I am going from a completely sedentary life, so I am gradually working up in exercising a little at a time. I am briskly walking for 10 minutes a day in my house. With the heat index here, it has been over 100 degrees, so I am staying inside. I am now doing some light weight reps and other exercises also. I would love to eventually be up to walking at least 30 minutes five times a week and lifting heavier weights with more reps about 3 times a week. I also want to increase the time for other exercises as well. My top weight was 334 and as of this morning, I weigh 292.8. My weight loss goal is to eventually to get down to 150 or less. I will take measurements just once a month, so I don't get discouraged. I still plan on weighing once a week, so Saturdays will be my weigh-in days. I am still trying to calorie cycle but I don't think my calories are high enough on the high days. For now, I am just in the experimental stages to see what will work best for me. I averaged 1182 calories a day for the week. I am also doing intermittent fasting on the 16:8 schedule. Actually, I am somewhat surprised, but it has not been hard for me to do.
I am open to any advice from others that are following a similar plan. I would also LOVE encouragement from all of you and I will do the same for you!
