One of our Living The Good Life challenges for Week 1 is to write up, and then follow, a daily routine. My days are pretty structured already because of work.

Here's mine:

8 to 830: take a neighborhood walk
830 to noon: work

noon: lunch
1 to 5: work
3: planned snack
5 to 6: prepare dinner
6 to 630: dinner and cleanup
630 to 8: misc chores (laundry etc) or relax
8 to 845: hike on the fire road

915: planned snack
930 to 10: update SP 5% Summer Challenge entries
10 to 11: relax with books, podcasts, movie, email/text friends
11: bedtime

830 to 1030: have breakfast with DH, read the paper, run errands together
1030 to 11: take a neighborhood walk if it's not too hot; if it is, do some yoga
11 to noon on Saturdays: misc chores
11 to noon on Sundays: Zoom meeting with Mom and family
noon: lunch
1 to 5: declutter the house, work in the garden, other chores
3: planned snack
5 to 6: prepare dinner
6 to 630: dinner and cleanup
630 to 8: misc chores (laundry etc) or relax
8 to 845: hike on the fire road
845 to 915: shower, put on pjs
915: planned snack
930 to 10: update SP 5% Summer Challenge entries
10 to 11: relax with books, podcasts, movie, email/text friends
11: bedtime

I don't follow this strictly, but this is the general idea. I think what will be especially useful this week is to try to stick to planned meals and snacks, and to have a consistent bedtime routine.

One thing that's not on my schedule that I need to start including is some kind of weight routine. I think that' important at my age. I need to do some research to find a YouTube video or something, then I can substitute that for one of my walks a few times a week, especially if it's hot.

Edit: I realized I didn't write down time to check in with the Challenge page, and that's something I really want to prioritize. I know when I get support, and give support, it really helps me stay on track. So I just went back and added that to the schedule.
