It is my 46th birthday today. My friend insists that makes me middle aged, but I don’t think so. I think of 50 as middle aged, lol. Anyways, I thought I would write down some of my birthday wishes for myself and for others.
1. I wish for peace of mind. 2. I wish for good health. 3. I wish for freedom from fear and anxiety. 4. I wish for another comfortable face mask. 5. I wish for plenty of energy and stamina. 6. I wish for financial stability. 7. I wish for safe and comfortable housing. 8. I wish for good friends. 9. I wish for patience and kindness. 10. I wish for calm and loving relationships.
I already have 6 out of 10, and I am working on the other 4. Slowly but surely things will fall into place.
I am spending my birthday sorting and packing. I also walked over to the phone company office to turn in my modem and power cord. Things are moving along. Sunday my brother is coming over with the truck (depending on the weather) and we will move larger furniture. Dad said he will replace his reading chair with my recliner. I just have to figure out how to move it, lol. It’s pretty big and the doorways are narrow. If I can figure out how to take it apart again that would simplify matters immensely! I think I can, but I am not 100 percent certain. All of my books and bookcases have been moved though. And donations to the used book store and local thrift store have been dropped off. I have made arrangements for the rest of the furniture that I am not keeping to be picked for donation as well. Definitely making discernible progress!
My family is not doing anything for my birthday this year, due to COVID-19, maybe in August we will have a cookout for all the summer birthdays in the family. And maybe not.
Wherever you are in the world I hope you have a marvelous day!
