It truly isn't cool enough to do anything until almost bedtime. No wonder I'm not getting anything done. 9 days of above 95 degrees, according to the weather people. I don't believe that is a record, but we could get to record territory. I can pass on that. My legs have mostly stopped hurting when they get rebandaged. I just wish they'd heal faster. The wraps on them are hot.

We lived for years without AC. Bedtime was always a challenge until I invested in icebags. We each had one that we filled with ice and placed on the carotid artery on our necks. Internal body temperature lowered and we were able to sleep through the night. In the daytime, there were lots of cold showers.

Hope you get some relief soon.

Boy, when I was still in Florida (in May) the days were in the 90s and humid. I did not feel like doing anything. I even stopped walking out doors as the humidity made my breathing difficult. The weather here is humid but not in the 90s as they had predicted. I did go to see my family yesterday. My son and his wife both have birthdays in July. So I felt good enough to bake a cake and a strawberry rhubarb crumble (no pie this year) that is their favorites. My son has always had a chocolate cake (box) with homemade peanut butter frosting. I have made it so many times it is not much work. Today I am forcing myself to walk on the treadmill for 30 minutes, I may to break it down into 2- 15 minute segments but I will get it done. I am glad you wounds are healing. The bandages must be hot with that humidity. The only good thing is the knowledge that this too will pass.
