Postponing DH's services
Thursday, July 23, 2020
Been a while since I last posted. I had made plans to do my husbands memorial service at Fort Custer on August 19, which would have been his 95th birthday, he passed 12-18-2019, and the celebration of life was to follow at our American Legion post, well because of Covid-19 and so many things changing talked it over with my kids and then made the decision this just wasn't working out, two of my kids live in FL and travel may be a problem for them so everything's being canceled till next summer. I want to be able to be together for this without worrying about what changes are going to happen from day to day. I don't mind having his ashes with me for a while longer.
On a brighter note July 28, I'll be heading up north to a wedding with my two nieces and two of the one nieces DD's. Northern MI has a lot less cases of the virus then we do down here in mid Michigan, and we're all taking masks and hand sanitizer with us, so will be as safe as we can about this.
I hope everyone is enjoying summer, but taking precautions to stay safe by wearing masks, washing hands frequently, sanitizing surfaces in your home and doing social distancing and not gathering in large crowds. Please be safe, there's already to many who have lost their lives to this horrible virus.
Hugs
