How to ignore an UberEats discount offer!

I just had an email telling me I have an UberEats discount. Not really what I want to hear right now. Last week was awful, I ended up ordering junk food twice and gained 5 pounds on weigh in day.

This week was much better. I feel better, I've been logging all my food and I've been moving more. I've decided that small steps (pun intended) work better than the 75 minutes daily exercise I tried to do before I totally overate and stopped.

So this week I managed to stay under 1,500 calories, and try to move at least once a day. My body weight exercises help me with my knee pain. A 15 minute walk round the block. And house work!

I'm also trying to work on my attitude. If I think about all the things I can't have, I end up eating them. So I think about all the lovely things I can eat, and at night I picture myself losing weight and walking easier.

So, all good this week. I deliberately blogged before my weigh in tomorrow. I'm way too influenced by the numbers on the scale, but that's what the docs want to see so that's what I'm tracking.

Let's see how next week goes.

    I can so relate to this post. I used to use DoorDash and my best defense against ordering, besides looking at my chubbier than necessary bits, is to look at my list of previous orders. It’s atrocious how much $$$ I spent on sending my body downhill!
