Staying Motivated When the Going Gets Difficult

While I love the summer, this past week has been rather warm and my motivation to exercise has begun to dwindle. It may seem like it is okay to skip exercising just this once, I am learning you have to be cautious if you do that because skipping exercise could become a habit.

When I find myself in this situation, I find that I need to just do it. Usually once I get started, I will keep going and I am happy that I did.

So, I have found my best way to stay motivated to exercise is to set goals including a regular workout time. The only workout buddy I have found that helps me stay motivated is my 4-legged friend as he is always ready and anxious to go.
