Spark Menu Plans

Saturday, July 25, 2020

I have been trying to follow the Spark menu plans, but I really don't care for most of the food they have on their menus, especially the combinations. I have the Diabetes DTOUR Diet book that my doctor recommended I try. So I think I will try some of those menus but still track what I eat on Sparks.

There's nothing wrong with that, Vixen. Tracking is one of the best tools available.

The spark menus don’t work for me. Not how I eat or cook.
But - I love the “recent” and “favorites” features that simplify tracking!

    Good plan.
I agree about the menus, I found, for instance if I have cottage cheese once and then it doesn’t come back up for a week or more that doesn’t work.
I have been tracking my food for a long time, now have lots of favorites to just click on and that works for me!

I track my own menus. It takes a bit of time to get favorites set up, as creatures of habit, it's easier after that. emoticon emoticon

That works. I don't necessarily follow the diabetic diet here on SP (for me, too many carbs), but I do track my food.
