A Little Set-Back

I was really consistently logging in my food and exercise and participating in my group discussions. Then even after I got married on June 20th, I still proceeded to keep going with my weight loss goals. However, when my mother-in-law got severely ill and was diagnosed with terminal cancer, all bets were off. I tried my best to keep up my program but I just kept sliding back. Then I stopped logging in on Sparkpeople. So, then she passed away on July 20th. Just one month after my wedding. We were all devastated. We practically lived at her house up until yesterday, cleaning out the house and getting things in order. People were kind and brought food. One of my brothers-in-law grilled for us a few times and there were a few pizza deliveries. So now I gained back almost what I lost.
Now to finally get back to taking care of me and my health. I have to find a way through the grief to get back on track. I know this is not going to be a lengthy blog, but it is going to help get this off my chest. I felt guilty for stepping away from Sparkpeople and falling off the wagon.
My brother-in-law's wedding is next May (2021). I really want to be as fit as I can for that because it is going to be a beach wedding in Florida. So, I have a new goal to get healthy for. Any love and supportive vibes sent my way would be appreciated!
