Spark people has a 2017 article on 28-days soda free. Well, HFCS/sugared soda free.
Becky Hand recommends diet soda, which carries all of the negatives of regular soda, minus HFCS, and adds digestive issues. FUN!
Plus, I’m a super taster and sweeteners all have a back taste. All of them. Including momkfruit.

The article:

Here’s my reply:
learned so much in the three years since this was published!
Water and unsweetened tea have begun to be the non alcoholic beverage of choice among my circle.
Yes, we brew tea ourselves.

Beyond the sugar, sodas typically steal from your bones. Our skeletons do more than serve as levers and fulcrums and lattice to hang the meat of our muscles. They store calcium and other minerals, with the intention of releasing them into the blood.
That’s why we must replace those minerals.
The same is true for milk, the proteins of which are acidic, so again, the bones must buffer.

Soda helps osteoporosis.
Don’t drink that which will steal your life

I'm a big tea drinker - and tea helps boost our immune systems, so how could that be bad?

    Kombucha is the bomb!
While I won’t have sodas at home, the occasional one out with friends is fine. It’s my espresso.
    And yep, it’ll be regular.

Hi....I stopped drinking all soda beginning 1/1/15 and have not had a single sip of the stuff since then. Water and teas (mostly herbal are my choice of beverage.). I like the taste of lemon/lime in my water sometimes. Kombucha. And tonic water if you want something fizzy.

I have read some SP articles that do not advise switching to diet soda but reading different articles will sometimes have conflicting information. I also do not do artificial sweeteners. If I drink soda it is a regular one.
