TAKE A FREE VACATION

Sunday, September 13, 2020

I was thinking back to the great trip I took to New England last fall. Now we have the pandemic and it’s not safe to do much traveling, and my budget doesn’t allow it. So I am taking a virtual vacation of some of the things I would be seeing if I were there now. It was really fun to put this together. I looked at lots of travel and historical websites and looked for photos online. Many areas have their own websites for virtual travel to keep you interested in visiting there when the pandemic is just a bad memory. I really enjoyed visiting Massachusetts, Vermont, Maine, New Hampshire, and the Adirondacks in western New York. These are just a few of the the beautiful places I visited. Next I am looking forward to planning a virtual vacation to a place I have never been to.

Statue of Paul Revere in Boston

Boston Harbor

Norman Rockwell Studio in Stockbridge MA

What are some of your favorite places to see?

So beautiful Wow. Many years ago I worked for McLean Wards (show jumper) parents, Barney and Kristine, north of NY and I remember being stunned by how beautiful this area is. Virtual holiday and walk down memory lane.

Beautiful Pictures. The lighthouse shot looks like a Thomas Kincade puzzle. I think I have that puzzle. :-) The last picture is amazing with all the fall colors on the trees. These pictures make me want to visit New England.
