I believe that the crazy times our world is in is taking a toll on our mental health. I know that is true for me. With my youngest daughter at school in a province with border restrictions I have been unable to see her in 6 months and don't know when I might get to see her again. I know that Thanksgiving will not be happening for our family and I am starting to worry that our Christmas will be disrupted as well. In order to try to maintain good mental health I am trying to spend more time focusing on the moment. I am trying to fit at least 10 min of meditation into my day and I am making sure that I get my exercise in. I am also working to make sure that my job does not take over my life - I have committed to no more than 2 evenings of meetings per week and am trying to make sure I leave the office on time each day. Hopefully these practice will reduce stress levels and help me maintain my mental health.
