2020 has been a year of curve balls. One thing after another tries to sabotage my efforts to a healthier me. As if viruses, riots, and politics weren't enough, this week I threw out my back. Sunday was a total wash but yesterday, my hubby got me a fitness ball that I used for stretching my back and I discovered that while the impact of walking and running weren't comfortable on my back, the stationary bike was perfect. Turned on Hamilton and biked away. Then sat and stretched on the fitness ball for movie time. This morning I am feeling much better. Feeling lucky to have a supportive family. And reminding myself that small achievements are still achievements. Slow and steady wins the race.
