This is the face of relief! My committee meeting is finally over with (and I did as well as expected considering the rough summer I've had but not as well as the last meeting). I'm really glad that my supervisor and other advisors are really great, helpful mentors. I've heard of people coming out of these meetings sobbing...

I really didn't want to do cardio today... but I'd already missed yesterday and there is no way I'm willing to stare at TWO days with no checkboxes on my whiteboard! I tried a new video that turned out to be ballet-based (previous videos I've tried of hers were not) and there's just something about ballet that makes me feel super elegant even when I'm very sure I'm not nearly as graceful in reality! I'm trying to include at least one video with a floor section along with the strength training day each week. I hate strength training so this kind of maybe tricks me into thinking "nah, this is still dancing!" www.youtube.com/

    That sounds wonderful! I have found I like belly dancing sometimes and GOOD JOB on completing your committee meeting, it sounds like that's a huge relief!

    I agree with you about ballet- there is nothing easy about it, and yet it is has meditative properties similar to yoga, given the focus on breath, posture, and pace.
