Got to the village a little later than planned but knew what I would face in the un-insulated, un-heated (except for my little heater) loom house.
At least the humidity was right in the middle where it should be.
In spite of the cold (wearing four layers part of the time) I got the loom all set for weaving the table runners.
Went to my traveling basket and realized that I had not put the weft yarns in the basket. They were still at home on my desk!
Oh, Well. Time for spinning!
See that lovely, little bare spot at the top of the photo. That means I am now on the very last layer in the basket and from here on more and more of the bottom of the basket will appear, through the bag! When I started spinning this fleece (June, 2018) the basket looked more like this.
At this photo I had half the fleece spun already because it would not fit in the basket without falling over. Once enough was spun it would stay upright in the basket.
I had a good and full morning. The afternoon was looking at clothes and giving descriptions and information so the inventory entries could be more complete on the computer system. We have some interesting things.
