2020 Fall 5% Challenge - Week 4

On Tuesday, my heel started to subtly tell me that I was increasing my running mileage a bit too rapidly. So, I've backed off on the training schedule for running/walking a half marathon in 12 weeks. I'll keep up the training, but repeat each week twice before moving up. A generalized plan needs to be adjusted for my age and foot/ankle issues.

I've reviewed my former training plan for 4x4 intensity intervals and did those on Thursday instead of a 4-mile run. I could tell that my cardiovascular fitness (anaerobic) threshold had dropped and I hit the wall before my HI interval was finished.

I think using the 4x4 program will help me burn some of the fat and break into the 140s.
