No turkeys at the Commissary

Monday, November 16, 2020

So, I went to the commissary yesterday to do my grocery shopping and was surprised to see all of the freezer section was completely empty with most of the having signs saying they were being worked on. Most of the shelves were empty. I had never seen it like that before. They didn't have any turkeys either. Should have gone to Walmart.

I would drive the 30 minutes to the base in Millington if I knew for sure they had what I needed. So sad and upsetting to hear they are not adequately stocked for those that can shop there.
The exchange online had pretty good sales for Black Friday.

All year long it's been hit and miss at our local grocer here. I bought a frozen breast a few weeks ago when I saw it. Sorry you have to make another trip.

I had trouble finding a smoked turkey. We had one two years ago, and it was so tasty, we wanted another. My Instacart shopper managed to track down one in the back, and that was all the store had. Hope you were able to find one elsewhere.🦃
