Our habits define how we spend our time. They give us direction for moving us forward. Make sure that you have healthy habits that will move you in the right direction. Every day I take a few minutes to determine what are my 3 BIG things to focus my energy on. I write them in my daily journal.

Today’s focus is:
1. My health-drinking my 8 glasses of water and getting in my 11K steps.
2. Sewing masks for my family and making a Christmas stocking for my new grandson Nicholas.
3. Work on finishing my booklet T2D and Me: my journey to better health with Type 2 Diabetes.

Keeping a journal helps me to see my progress. Knowing that I’m making some progress, even small progress helps me to stay focused and moving forward.
