Thu 11/26 Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to my sparkfriends.

The day started off with making salad with potatoes, boiled eggs, onions, and spaghetti noodles. We spent the day with our son and his family. Lunch was a turkey meal from Keoki's Paradise (slow roasted all-natural turkey, Li Hing Mui cranberry relish, roasted patty pan squash and baby zucchini, sour cream mashed potatoes, Asian pear and kalua pig stuffing, house made turkey giblet gravy--alas, no dessert). The food was good but portions were small for a meal for 4. Dinner was a turkey meal and sashimi from Eating House (1# turkey breast, 1# turkey leg/thigh, brioche stuffing, buttery mashed potatoes, green beans, gravy, cranberry sauce, and 2 servings of caramel apple panna cotta). We also got 1# of rainbow sashimi for our son and daughter-in-law since we (hubby, daughter, and I) don't eat sashimi. The food was good. We had a nice time playing dominoes and hanafuda.
