My mom's birthday!
Tuesday, December 29, 2020
Well it was my mom's birthday yesterday and she turned 74. She is having a lot of problems with osteoarthritis in her hands and I am concerned. She can't drive and do a lot of things and has to take advil for it. She has a doctor appointment on January 11th and I am hoping it goes well and she can have surgery soon. Only thing is if she has surgery, I may have to live with her for a few weeks and bring my kitty. She has a kitty too and my kitty doesn't easily get along with other cats. Luckily I learned a few tricks reading the book The Cat Whisperer. I'm also not sure how long I will be working from home and if I move in with her for a little bit if I'd have to move all my equipment! Ugh the thought! Well it's too early to worry about it.
Here are some pictures of my mom with my daugthers:
Yesterday I binge watched Rizzoli and Isles and am now on the last season. It was very exciting where I just HAD to watch more because Jane was being targeted by a woman from the police academy and was messing with her family and friends. It really is a good show and I love the music and the beginning as well as the humor throughout. Not happy when I read that the decision to cancel the show was because it didn't fit with TNT's shows and something about ratings. Frankly, I had never heard of the show until my co-worker and friend, Jackie, mentioned it to me that it was on TV. I was like what's that. I like Sasha Alexander from NCIS so she had me interested.
I am reading a memoir on Victoria Rowell an actress from Young and the Restless and Diagnosis Murder. I am about 60% done it and she has sweaty hands too! I was so excited reading that. I don't know if she finds a solution for it but I am very curious. She says it has to do with stress. I think that has something to do with it but it is just more than that and involuntary. I know it is called something and you can have brain surgery to fix it. No one wants brain surgery and they laugh at the medical insurance office.
I am very much looking forward to the New Year but not happy about driving New Year's Eve to pick up the daughters. Michelle seems to want to go to a party which she doesn't know if it is on New Year's Eve or Day. I bet you it is on New Year's Eve and I am not driving her to Richford. Her dad will have to drop her off or the mother will have to pick her up!
Happy New Year!
