Big waves at Island View Beach today

As you can see, there was no beach to walk on today - high tide and stormy weather combined for some spectacular 6 foot waves!
I live on the southern tip of Vancouver Island on the Saanich Peninsula. Island View Beach is about a 10 minute drive from my place. No matter where you live here, there is a beach within a short drive.
