What is Your Real Weight

Monday, January 11, 2021

I'm a little confused. I know that weight fluctuates during the day, but how can you determine your actual weight. Is it the weight you see first thing in the morning or is it the weight you see doing the day? Can anyone clarify this for me?

I don't know, but weighing first thing in the morning makes me feel better. If you weigh later, you are weighing part of the food you have not digested.

Best to weight yourself the same time. For me I do that every Friday morning before I eat breakfast.

I don’t know the scientific answer to this question, but I personally weigh first thing in the morning, every Sunday. That way, the weigh ins are all relevant to each other based on the same time every week.
I hope you can find a satisfactory answer to your question.

Honestly, 'real weight' is elusive. Scales vary and there are so many outside and internal bodily variables that affect weight. The best I do is weigh (I DO have to weigh daily as for my health I have to stay within a certain parameter). I record the weight daily, but only pay attention to it once/week. I look @ the trend. I average the weight.

    Hope that helps.

I just weigh at the same time, so it's a consistent average. I can up and down as much as 4lbs a day, so I just picked a time and stuck with it.
