Day 24: Taking It Easy

"Laugh when you can, apologize when you should, and let go of what you can't change. Kiss slowly, play hard, forgive quickly, take chances, give everything, and have no regrets. Life's too short to be anything but happy." (Author Unknown)
Hello, my lovely friends!
Yesterday my mom wasn’t feeling it at all and wanted to have a no workday. I took down some of the boxes she packed up the day before and brought up some empty bins. There’s a good chance that she’ll want to do the same today. I know her mind is somewhere else right now. I just can’t imagine how she feels losing her husband and both parents in four years, my heart breaks for her.
Tomorrow we’re going to go get a haircut because it has been a long time since we’ve had one. My mom normally has short hair above her shoulders, but she is sporting a ponytail now and hates it. I have curly hair and I just need some new layers and all the curls become springy again. Tuesday we’re going to the funeral home to see how my grandpa looks before the services on Thursday. On Wednesday I have an eye appointment that I’ve had scheduled since November. Then the funeral services are on Thursday. It’s going to be a busy week for us, but after that, we can rest and put the house back together and the Christmas decorations away.
Not much else is going on for us this week. How are things going around you all?
Be safe and well! Lots of hugs and loves to you all!
