Day 27: It Was Snowing

"Today I choose life. Every morning when I wake up I can choose joy, happiness, negativity, pain... To feel the freedom that comes from being able to continue to make mistakes and choices -- today I choose to feel life, not to deny my humanity but embrace it." (Kevyn Aucoin)
Hello, my lovely friends!
Late last night I woke up and couldn’t fall back to sleep. I looked out the window and watched the snow lightly falling, the street light giving just enough light to see the snow sparkling. We finally have some snow in Denver, but it really was very light snow and will be gone by this afternoon. It was pretty while it lasted. I loved walking in the snow with Bella because it was so quiet and you could hear the snow crunchy under your feet. It was very calming for me.
We had plans to go out on Monday to get things done including a haircut, but when my mom woke up she didn’t want to go anywhere. I think it was around 20 outside and she didn’t want to go out in the cold and said we would go out on Tuesday. Guess what happened? Yep, it was snowing but we had to go out because I had to get a flash drive and we needed our haircuts. We got all that done. I came home and uploaded the video and the eulogy video that my sister made and everything is ready for Thursday.
Scooter is not going to be happy with us. Today I have an eye appointment and then we go to the funeral home to see how my grandpa looks. I also will see if the video and all that plays. I bet the two of us sleep in on Friday because we’ve been go go go this week. We’ll probably take Scooter with us on Saturday to go get my mom’s vaccine shot. I’m still so happy she’s getting it. The rest of the week and the beginning of next week will consist of putting Christmas away.
Be safe and well! Lots of hugs and loves to you all!
