Well I have been an extra leader for the Shooting Stars Team for the 5% Seasonal Challenges and it has been a wonderful experience! I have virtually met so many great and wonderful people! It's like a small family or community which we all need in these times of the pandemic. Which might explain why I work so hard actually or I just consider it fun; not sure. Janey, put it this way we are helping people get healthy and I never thought of it in that perspective. Thank you Janey! So true! So yesterday I got a reward for my effort and wonderful comments from the leader of the team, Barb! I really was touched and almost cried when I saw it. Here are her comments that I copied and pasted and the pin/badge I got! So grateful and thank you!
"I found this beautiful spot along the trail it was just perfect for this. I have a special presentation today for a very special Star. She has gone above and beyond over and over again. Sarah is one of our newest leaders and is backup to our motivation leader Janey. She has been doing a wonderful job at this. This Week Nancy has been out with electrical and internet issues and Sarah just stepped right in and started filling in for Nancy doing the Questions of the Day for her until she is able to return. Way to go Sarah!! I appreciate everything you have done Sarah!!! Great job!!

So if you are interested in doing something to lose weight and gain friends you may consider joining the seasonal challenges we do here on Spark. The Winter Challenge is ending on March 6th and after that you will be able to sign up for a Spring Challenge. There is some work involved. You have to exercise weekly and have a certain amount of minutes to contribute. You also have to record your weight weekly! That's it though, you do what you want after that! Contribute where you want and all! It's all up to you! Our health is in our own hands!
