I've been off of sweets since September of last year, and feel sooo much better! I am to the point now where I don't even crave them, which is such a big deal for me!

That is awesome! I feel so much better on minimal or no sugar. I keep track of it. I love sweet items that are natural, so much better!

The first round I didn't substitute anything because I wanted to break the addiction not replace it. I went on a binge the day after my 21 days made myself so sick so I'm trying it again. This time most days Im ok but I gave into my sweet tooth with some chocolate avocado pudding, using dates instead of the normal honey or maple syrup. It's hard but I think it's a big step in finding balance especially if you are a sugar monster like myself!

What do you do when the craving hits? How do you substitute if you had lots of the sweet stuff before?

I challenged myself to not have added sugar for 21 days and while I still have 2 days my work week is coming to an end and let me tell you people bring us all kinds of sweet treats annnd I DID NOT INDULGE!!! I am so very proud of myself because I am a chocolate addict! Woohoo go me!
