Walking has been difficult because of lower back pain, but I am bound and determined to heal my back issues! I know that if I do no walking, that's not good either, so I take breaks, press through the pain at times, and do my best.

It's been a few days since I've posted here. I've had my ups & downs. But through it all, I am starting to see the numbers on the scale go down. I've lost about 7 pounds total so far in two weeks. I am hoping to lose more in the next two coming weeks towards this end of April. I googled how many weeks are left in the year: 36. Can you believe that? Sounds like a lot, but at the same time, it really isn't. I have 36 weeks to change my body. I can do this. emoticon emoticon

Day 4, 5, 6: I had a nice Easter weekend. There were some temptations and i gave into an extra piece of breakfast pizza this morning.I had the egg hunt indoors, on account of the fact it was snowing. I weighed myself Saturday and lost 5 lbs!

Day 3: I am practicing the Spring into Shape Bootcamp challenge. It has definitely been tough for me at my weight, but I break down the steps, trying my best. I've been staying up late and wanting to oversnack/night binge, but then I look at the ticker counter on my spark people page and know that I can not break my streak. I truly believe in my heart that I can do this!

Day 2: I didn't eat the healthiest (really need to go grocery shopping) so I need to start making more home cooked meals. But I am happy to say, if moderation was a streak, I would be doing well. I stepped on the scale a little bit earlier and i lost about 3 pounds. So I am happy I didn't gain anything, but actually lost a little, woohoo! Step aerobics for 10 minutes seems to help me, and hopefully I can begin working my way up to that half hour.

This is the first step on the beginning of my journey.

I am in the process of losing a large amount of weight, for my health, but also so I can live out my dreams with more confidence and inner joy. I want to feel good when I go to the beach and the swimming pool! emoticon

Accountability Journal: So far, eating foods within moderation has been my place of strength. I guess I'm just done with that feeling of being stuffed or being too full. And, I am trying to get in the habit of drinking more water. Also today I started the Spring into shape bootcamp challenge, here on SP. I definitely need to be adding more fruits and veggies into my meals, but at least i had a good mix of some grapes, pineapple, melon, and honeydew. Now, I am going to practice my first workout, which is a kickboxing routine. Wish me luck. .
