Hello Anna and welcome. I agree with the previous post. You've come to a great place for support. I'm new to the site as well but I've already learned so much just from reading from the message board and some of the blogs. It begins with you, put your mind to it and do it. If you are withing walking distance to restuarnts then walk and go get you a soup and salad or take the time the night before and prepare your lunch and take it with you. Stop allowing your boss to bring back your food that will be the first step towards the rest of your weightloss adventure.

emoticon This will be a wonderful place for you to learn what the better foods are. Be sure to use the trackers, they help me so much by keeping me accountable for my choices. Just enter EVERYTHING you eat, and you will see where you need to make better choices.

And exercise is beneficial too-try to find something you enjoy doing, try new things, anything to get you moving if you aren't working out already.

Getting healthy isn't always easy, but it is soo worth the time & effort!

Hi Anna! Welcome to SP and the Alabama Team.
What I would recommend is you getting on a better diet going. Plan your meals and talk to your boss about making better choices for you.
You need to add some exercise in there some where too!
Get involved here. This place is great!

Hey. I'm Anna. I'm 19 and I have been overweight my whole life. I currently weigh 210 but I use to weigh 280. I would like to get down from 210 to 180 by May 2010, but I am stuck. Some days I am so hungry that I can eat but not satisfy my hunger, and other days I can barely eat anything at all. I am no longer motivated, and I do not know what to do.

I am a nail technician and work in a shop, just me and my boss. She normally goes and gets us food and I do not get to choose what I eat. So that is challenging to be able to eat the right foods... Well, I do not know what is the right kind of foods to start off with.

Anything is possible if you try hard enough :-)
