I am having c-4, 5 and 6 fused in a few weeks (long time coming) and am nervous as a cat on a hot tin roof about it.

I've been doing supplements and eating Whole 30. Found out that way that a lot of the headaches the doctors were attributing to my neck were actually food allergies. Still, I have lost some function in my right arm and hand, not to mention the unrelenting muscle spasms.

Wouldn't hurt me to lose 20-30 pounds so figured I'd buckle down and get on with it. Any advice as to what kind of exercises I can do between now and my surgery date (mid-May) to strengthen my neck and upper back would be greatly appreciated.
