My name is Vern - I;m 23 years and 8 months pregnant with my first and LAST baby. In November of 2010 I had just reached my goal weight and had abs coming....a month later I was pregnant lol...sucks! Overall all I'm anxious, happy, and excited about meeting my baby girl. But I am also concerned about losing the weight - I have gained 30 plus pounds already and still have 8 weeks to go. I'm ready to get sexy...again! :)

Hello everyone! My name is Myka. I'm 27 and a month ago I gave birth to my beautiful baby boy. I delivered via C section and I haven't been cleared for working out yet, but I am looking to join a group with motivational members who can help me get on track and start with diet, then move to exercise as I am able/cleared.

My pre-pregnancy weight was 195, when I delivered I was 205 - I know, it only looks like 10 pounds, but I lost 15 pounds my first five months of pregnancy, and delivered at 35 weeks.I am now at 174, which is phenomenal for me since losing the baby weight, water weight, and all the other business has put me at a weight I haven't seen in a couple of years anyway!

I am looking to still go down about 50lb or so, which isn't technically baby weight since I've had it for at least 10 years it seems like, but I figured other new moms out there may have tips and tricks that can fit into my new mommy lifestyle, especially moms who delivered via c-section who are also having to recover and can't immediately get into (or back into) a fitness routine.

Hello ladies. My name is Keisha & I am 29 yrs old. I recently gave birth to my first child, a baby girl this past April. I gained a lot of weight during my pregnancy. More than expected!!
Before my pregnancy I lost about 60 pounds and maintained it for 7-8 years.
I have been a member of Sparks since 2007. I have used this site on/off over the years & it has proven to be a great tool every time -- never failing me.
Since I have new goals & a new lifestyle I decided to look for new groups.

Hi, i'm Amber. I'm 21 and a new mom of a now four month old baby. I have a wonderful husband that supports me in my weight loss even though he thinks i'm fine the way i am. I'd like to love me too though, and so i'm trying hard to lose the weight. I'm hoping that by this time next year, i'll be looking good and as thin as i never was. lol.

I know I'm ready to get this party started. LOL. I know I only have myself to blame for where I'm at today healthwise. I also know that no one else can change my lifestyle either. I am ready to make better choices for myself and my family, and be the type of mother I've always wanted to be. Healthy and able to run and play with my kids.

Hi my name is Sarah, I'm 26 years old and have a 7 year old and a 13 month old. I used sparkpeople years ago and managed to lose almost 90 pounds! I was a slim size 8, then I got pregnant and those bad habits came back. I have 65 pounds to lose to get back to pre-pregnancy weight. I've been dieting the last month and managed to lose 16lbs. I never used the forums before, so this is all new to me. I'm hoping to find some much needed motivation. So "Hello!" and I look forward to losing weight with you ladies.

Hi My name is Rachael and I have a daughter who is 20 months old. I'm losing the baby weight but my body has definitely changed. I need to tone up and get my stomach back. I feel like my body may never look the same again since having a baby. The weight is coming off but my body is not looking so good (do you know what I mean). My name is Sam and I have a little sweetpea who is turning six months old tomorrow! Crazy!!

I didn't gain a ton of weight during pregnancy (about 15 lbs.), but I can definitely tell my body has excess fat in my tummy and I'm definitely not nearly as fit and toned as I once was. I walked and did light cardio (elliptical/stationary bike) during pregnancy, but once I had Barrett, I've done very little exercise in general. And I used to be a pretty hard core exerciser prior to being pregnant. So, I'm really ready to get back into things and feel good about myself!

Hi Everyone! I am excited to join this team. I am a mom to a 10 month old boy. I am 28 years old and still trying to lose the baby weight. Before pregnancy I was 140 pounds and wanted to get back to my 125 lb weight. Now I am 160 shooting for my pre-pregnancy goal of 125. Right after pregnancy, I was doing really well, but two months afterwards, I had to get my gallbladder out, which I gained 10 pounds back in 1 week after the surgery. So now I am having a hard time losing weight at all, but am in the gym and eating right to try and blast through this. I am looking forward to the team challenges and meeting all of you!

Hello all! My name is Vickie and I am 20 years old! I am a new mommy to a beautiful 4 1/2 month old named Melody. When i met her father I was at my best weight EVER 140 LBS. He spoiled me so much when I found out I was pregnant I was 168 :(. AT 9 months I got to 200 :((. Now I am stuck at 180 and feel like everyday I am battling this stupid weight. I would give anything to be back at 140 and have these HORRIBLE stretch marks fade! I love my baby girl so it was worth putting on the weight, but now it MUST COME OFF. I want to be back down to 140 lbs by January 31st, my 21st birthday, so I can enjoy an all expenses paid trip to Las Vegas as a gift from my beautiful mother!

Hello, my name is Amber I'm 35, I had my son in Sept 2010. I was 20 pounds over weight when I got preggers, and I gained 25 pounds during pregnancy. I started WW and lost my first 11 pounds in April. Due to not being able to buy all the foods I needed I stopped and May was of course a no weight loss month. I found this website the last week of May. I'm huge into dance, I was a dance instructor before a health condition made it hard to keep my stamina up.

I hope to find some support and also to encourage others.

Hi everyone, my name is Blayr and I'm a 26 years old mom of two...I gave birth to my second baby in November and have been struggling for the past four months to loose the baby weight (to be honest...I didn't really loose all the weight from baby #1, 5 years ago). Right now I'm heavier then I was when I gave birth. I am breastfeeding so I thought the weight would just fall right off...boy was I wrong LOL. I workout a few times a week but I plan to step it up and workout 5-6 days a week.

Hi all, I'm Katy and my son is 5 months old today! I was having a very healthy pregnancy and since I was a little larger at the beginning of my pregnancy, I was doing a very good job of keeping the weight gain to a minimum. However at 29 weeks I developed Severe HELLP Syndrome and my son was born at 29 weeks 5 days with an emergency c-section. I was on blood pressure medication and strict orders not to exert myself to more than a stroll for 3 months. My son was in the NICU for almost 10 weeks. Between not being allowed to exercise and eating horribly while basically living in the NICU with my son, I have more weight now than I did after delivery.

We're both in the clear now and doing well. It's time for me to start focusing on myself again now that my son is a normal, healthy boy and not in the critical phase anymore!

I only have 5lbs to lose to get back to my prebaby weight...but I would ultimately like to lost 40lbs. I lost 70 lbs after the birth of my daughter and am ready to get back at it. Hello all! My name is Samantha. I am 23 and had my first baby Feb. 17th. I started my pregnancy at 175 and got to 215 when I delivered. I should really be no more than 140 to feel comfortable and be healthy :) I am down to 182 now and really need some accountability and focus to get going and lose the rest. Hi! My name is Rachel and i just started on sparkpeople this week. I found the app on my phone and think its pretty cool. I had my baby girl on 8/9/10 and shes so great! lol Before i got pregnant I weighed about 160, but i was a little overweight then too. I lost most of the baby weight right after i had her. I went from 190 to about 155 in about a month but now im back up to 178 :( i really wanna get looking good for when my husband gets back from his deployment and for his r&r in july (hes in the army). I just dont have any motivation right now and i hope this site/app helps
