Thank you for sharing. And I am glad your taking some time for you. You deserve it. Folks that are The CareGivers often dont think about themselves. They give and give and give. But if you dont take some time for YOU... and get healthy you wont have much to give after awhile. I am glad you made your way here. WELCOME

Hi, I am a care-giver, as a mom (special needs son) , daughter ( dementia) and nurse(in corrections). I am currently taking care of me. Making grocery list around my needs and wants and taking responsibility for me being healthy and happy. It is a different game at this stage in life. Have always been overweight and learning new coping skills with food addiction. Making lunch instead of being taking what is left over. I enjoy this site, reading the human nature and aspects we all struggle with and I am not alone! Couldn't believe I actually posted my real weight, and not shaving off a few pounds or adding a few inches. Look forward to communicating with others that are similar to me, care-givers, over 50, Christian people, or just encourager's. We all need that! Look forward to shedding pounds and get healthy!
