Thank you all for your encouragement and suggestions. Of course, I WILL persevere... just frustrated.

I too did not lose any weight for the first two weeks while watching everything I ate and working out everyday. I know that I have a hard time revving up my metabolism so patience is my best friend at the moment. I recently read an article in a women's health magazine stating if you exercise first thing in the morning before eating breakfast you can give your metabolism an extra boost for the day. It seams to be working for me.

Remember, don't give up. Hang in there!!

Hi - Hang in there. I'm down 4 pounds and I didn't budge the scales the first 2 weeks either. I can tell by my clothes and the way I feel that inches are coming off too. I just feel all together better - I hope you do too. 20 pounds is a large goal for 2 months - just hang in there and get excited about each day of tracking and exercising and know that it will pay off on the scales eventually - have a great day!!

Thank you, Kat! Wow! You've lost 17 pounds already! Congratulations!

I did take my measurements when I started, but have not remeasured yet. My fingers are crossed!

Check your measurements, sweetie- you may well find that, even if the scales haven't budged, you HAVE lost inches. You are doing very well with your tracking and exercise- keep it up. Just don't rely on the scales alone-the fact that you ate feeling healthier shows that it is going in the right direction!
Persist, and you will see results!

Hi All,
I've been enjoying this site for about 4 weeks now. I have tracked my "eatings" faithfully and stay within 1200 and 1500 calories daily. I do exercise about 4 times a week; twice a week with yoga/pilates and twice doing zumba. Walks are sprinkled in the mix as well. I've been enjoying reading the messages in my box each day as well. My frustration is that the scale isn't budging.... I had hoped to lose 20 pounds in 2 months for an upcoming wedding. Now there's one month to go! :-(
