Weekly Bible Verse: 4:14-16

Thanks for that great encouragement

I've added this scripture to my daily reading. I love reading how Jesus went through all the same temptations as we do and still did not sin! And I try to do better at approaching God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that I may receive mercy and find grace to help me in my time of need. I want to keep my focus on Him, but I get distracted so easily and then feel like I fail Him.

Jesus, God the Father and the Holy Spirit all know what we are facing in the winter we now live in.

"Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need." (Hebrews 4:14-16)
