I'd pick Daryl "Moose" Johnston. Not only was he a great player (and overlooked far too much), but he doesn't turn away fans and get arrogant when he's not on camera. Reminds me a lot of Witten....REAL.

Well, we're just going to have to agree to disagree here. Dak and Dez never did seem to connect whereas with Amari, the connection was instant. Dez didn't run routes well, but because of Romo's experience, he was able to compensate and made Dez look better than he was.

Now, since Dak's got more experience under his belt, that COULD possibly change but I just don't think he's needed. I think all that talk from Jerry is just to keep the Cowboys in the news. Look what happened at the Super Bowl. Supposedly, these "genius" quarterbacks are playing but who is the media all talking about???? Not the two Super Bowl contenders but The Cowboys. And people wonder why they're called America's Team.

As for what happened with Zeke, blame Garrett. Heavens! Zeke is nowhere close to being done. But an RB takes pounding far more than most positions and not everyone can be an Emmitt Smith. And Zeke LIKES to hit. Ask any DB in the league he's played against, especially Daniels of Green Bay.

I am so very sorry.......

you are correct about Dez........ I think he worked well with Dak though ..... I'm not sure what is even happening with Zeke they started out a great pair but I think that's it's course...... I don't think he's in the game....

I like Dez. I like his energy and loyalty BUT he's suffered a severe ankle injury - not once but a couple of times. That's bad news for a WR. Plus, even though he is a big, strong guy, he's not that good at running routes.

Michael Gallop and Amari Cooper and frankly, Randall Cobb are far better. I don't see the Cowboys bringing him back and frankly, after his injuries, I don't see another team taking a chance on him, especially since just the second day of training with the Saints and he was out for another season. He's just not desirable right now, especially with this deep WR draft class coming out.

Romo was a quarterback and that is far different position and injuries affect different positions differently. Plus, Romo was a far better quarterback that Dez was a WR.

Just my opinion. I wish him well, but I would be shocked if any other team gives him a call. Think about it - he's there at the STAR, practicing....McCarthy is just a few steps away but hasn't bothered to even look in on him. Cowboys have their WRs. Dez won't be among them.

I don't see Brady coming here but Dez's time in the NFL is DONE! He needs to move on.

Do you think they'll get the long-term contract done before the deadline?
