Thanks Wana, I overdid it a bit on the wine this weekend emoticon because we had some out-of-town visitors. We had a nice visit, and I ate well and drank my water but I did drink a bit more than I was planning. Anyway, I'm back on track today and plan to do so for the rest of the week. Turns out my weight did go down a bit more when I weighed myself on Wednesday, so that's good but I don't want to mess up my progress. I work too hard at it lol Crazy how it's sooooo easy to gain and soo sooo difficult to lose even one pound.

Yes, drinking water does help a lot, great job on that! I've got 5 more lbs to lose too, we're almost there!! We can do this!! emoticon

Abeulax3 good for you for keeping it up! My 2 drink every 5 days is going well! I did have 3 glasses of wine yesterday during a party. But I plan on abstaining for the next 5 to even it out. I'm drinking tons of water so I think that's helped w/ the weight loss...but I still would like to lose 5 more pounds...hang in there!

Wannabhot2, good for you. My drink of choice was always beer and I've stayed completely away from that, but I do allow myself a glass or two of wine on the weekends. That was all I had on Sunday, so I've been doing pretty good - at least I think I have. Problem is, I don't feel like I've lost any weight. I weigh myself tomorrow morning. I tried on some clothes that were tight on me and they still seem to feel the same emoticon I've been doing this for 4 1/2 weeks. Been logging my nutrition and fitness and haven't gone on any eating or drinking binges, been exercising 5 days a week, drinking my water. I'm nervous about my weigh in tomorrow emoticon

Regardless of my weight tomorrow, I'm going to keep it up. Maybe I'll see a real change soon emoticon

Hang in there abeulax3! I'm with you! My family and I are actually staying in so I think it will be a little easier...I am allowing myself 2 drinks every 5 days :0) and the other night I had a couple glasses. I've managed to lose the holiday weight and want to keep on this path of moderation!

Yes, I'm dreading the weekend especially Super Bowl Sunday emoticon but I'm determined to enjoy myself without overindulging in food or drink. We can do this, yes we can!! emoticon

Just keep posting, I'm here for you and I'm sure there's much support in many of the other posts.

Thanks abeulax3! I have gotten some positive feedback and it is so helpful! Today is actually easy / but have to admit it will be tough when the weekend rolls around. Good for you for sticking with it!

No way, Wanabhot2, you are definitely not the only one. I've been AF for almost 4 weeks, since I re-joined SP. I won't lie, I still have my moments but it has gotten a bit easier. I am feeling much stronger and so much better.

Just get past each day, one day at a time. You can do this!! I've lost 6 lbs emoticon

So tough! The first couple of days are always easy...and then by day 3 / I want that glass of vino! But I'm down 2 lbs - just from not drinking...am I the only one struggling?
