Put the ingredients in the Spark Recipe Calculator (enter the ingredients and the number of servings) You can even put in instructions. Then the calculator will give you the calories, fat, protein, carbs. It will help you also because you can adjust the ingredients to improve nutrition, decrease fat, try other ingredients.

There are many casseroles.. Even Lasagna is a casserole. I think of it as a "one dish meal" and you can combine ingredients, use tortillas, chips, rice, noodles for the starch, chicken, fish (regular tuna is fine but I like the water pack as it does have fewer calories and albacore may have more mercury) or even beef. You can use soup, white sauce, tomatoes, or a combination for the liquid. Cheese seems to be a favorite ingredient to hold it all together.

Yep and I bet it will taste just as good...you can even change the peas to mixed veggies too...(carrots, peas, corn) Maybe change the mushroom soup to cream of chicken (2 cans)

I just wrote down the recipe.. i dought dave would try it he is picky but maybe if i make it with chicken he might can i do that instead????

my hubby bless his heart makes to pennies squeak. and so we save money anyway way we can.. he does let me have allot of things i want but somethings he just is picky bout. i have also learned some things fat free are gross and i don't like them either.. so what i do is eat light mayo, and light mar, eand light cheese sometimes. the cheese anyway i just figure the extra mounts in to my diet and go from there it works well.

no it's not bad for you...just has more fat in it. Which means you have to make sure you stay within your daily tracker for fat intake. Tuna is good for you all the way!!!

any type,any type with chicken cause we eat it allot... oh what is alba tuna??? I know what tuna is but the other????I am just not suzy homemaker at all. I have been working 18 yrs outside the home." ,lets face it a women has two full time jobs if, they work outside the house." thanks so much you all are the greatest.

what particular casserole you have in mind....there are so many of them...I have a wonderful tuna casserole dish I think you would enjoy......
Ingredients...
1 bag egg noodles(serves 4-6)
10 oz bag of frozen peas
1 lg can of Albacore tuna
4 hard boiled eggs
1 family size can of cream of mushroom soup
1 cup of nonfat milk
preheat oven to 350 degrees while prepping casserole......
cook the noodles until just tender; drain and add to a casserole dish. combine the peas, tuna, chopped hard boiled eggs, the mushroom soup, and the milk.....mix well. cover dish... allow casserole to cook for 40-45 mins where it looks bubbly hot...cook another 10 mins without the lid to give it a golden touch. if you want you can add shredded cheddar to top. I like it without. Enjoy!!!
