I am with those trying to find all that extra time that is ideally there as we increase in years. I think I lost it, along with my keys, my children's names, etc! LOL
I do prefer to have goals/challenges that help me to do a bit toward progression each day. There is a wide field and I need to prioritize. One day it might be one thing, another day something else. More likely though I do have some focus on areas that take a week or more. Right now I am trying to get things organized and de-cluttered around the house. Looking at a year or so.GRIN
There are always basics to remind myself of and not forget to accomplish. Basics they can be but it is surprising how quickly by the wayside they may fall. Prayer, scripture study, service, getting in those fruits and veggies, at least some exercise, journal writing, and so on. Accountability is good. Could tie in with challenges.
I will mention one challenge, but it would be a bit of background work. Together we could Walk The Mormon Trail! We could start in Sharon, Vt and end in Salt Lake. Each of us would contribute our mileage as we do it. Running, walking, and biking etc are easier to track as miles. But we would set up equivalent mileage for other exercises such as swimming, dancing, snow shovelling, etc. We would track our trip as we go along and celebrate as we reach each special place. We would see how long it takes to reach Salt Lake as a team.

Those are some good ideas, I will try to figure out ways to use them. Be sure you share others you have. Like WG said we are trying to figure out how to get healthy in a way that is doable.

I agree I am not getting more time. But, for me I agreed to do more things like going back to school. I was hoping to find more time. Somehow I lost it. When talking about seminary Bishop just said busy can be good. I guess he is right and I am being blessed but, it is a lot of work.

I love those ideas. Also thinking about building some healthy habits. The Spark way is to decide on a habit and do even one thing as part of the habit every day.

This makes it easier to be successful and more likely to continue.

I know we are supposed to have more time as we get older and our children need less of our personal time but I'm not finding my time to do things increasing. I think you are feeling much the same.

Looking for some ways to be successful without having to make choices between good things I'm doing.

Have a great day.

Non-physical items--getting VTing done early, writing down a personal story for family history (one a week or whatever...), little acts of service

Health/physical related--watching portion sizes, planning ahead for eating out, trying new types of exercise, working out with a partner

What would you like to see in future challenges?
