I have been at this 3 weeks. The first week was awesome but the "honeymoon" phase came to abrupt end. Looking back over the last two weeks (in which I gained 5 lbs) I realized there was no good reason for the back slide. No major event good or bad, no illness, etc. Luckily I was reading the first book put out by Spark People and came across the section about "stronger starters" and "false starters". My download fall has been my attitude: focusing on weight loss instead of being healthy. Treating it like a diet instead of a lifestyle change. I know for me to be successful I need to change the way think as well as the external habits. I came across this quote "IF YOU ARE TIRED OF STARTING OVER, STOP GIVING UP" I have this posted up both at home and at work. So in answer to the question How You feeling? Disappointed but hopeful.
