Speaking of Proverbs, I have some good verses from my Proverbs study yesterday (NLT):
Good planning and hard work lead to prosperity, but hasty shortcuts lead to poverty.
Proverbs 21:5
Choose a good reputation over great riches; being held in high esteem is better than silver or gold.
Proverbs 22:1
Do not withhold good from those who deserve it when it's in your power to help them.
Proverbs 3:27
Give freely and become more wealthy; be stingy and lose everything. The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed.
Proverbs 11:24-25
Wise words bring many benefits, and hard work brings rewards.
Proverbs 12:14
Lazy people want much but get little, but those who work hard will prosper.
Proverbs 13:4
Plans go wrong for lack of advice; many advisers bring success.
Proverbs 15:22
Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed.
Proverbs 16:3
Some people are always greedy for more, but the godly love to give!
Proverbs 21:26
"When it comes right down to it, the "secret" to keeping the weight you’ve lost off is really very simple: Don’t stop doing the things that helped you take it off in the first place...The key to successful maintenance is to know that reaching your goal weight is not the end."
