I have started doing each rep in a 4 x 4 count (in sync with my breathing)...
up, two, three four,
hold, two, three four,
down two, three four,
hold, two, three four, and repeat
I feel so much better afterwards that I am starting to wonder if this is giving me the better workout for the time spent.
Your advice would be appreciated.

One set would have 8-12 repetitions in it. So you'd do the exercise 8-12 times, rest for 30-60 seconds and then do it 8-12 times again as a second set. You can do just one set and then move on to the next exercise, but if you're doing multiple sets, you'd want to do them all, then move on.

Does that help?

I have joined this challenge again.

I always get mixed up with " For most exercises, do 1-3 sets" Does this mean you do the exercise 3 times then move on to the next exercise OR do you do all the exercises then go back and do them all again?

Thanks

Sorry, the challenges are only accessible through the website, not the app.

Hi, I just joined this challenge on my spark people app through an article, but I can't find it again on the phone. Can you tell me how to find it again on the App? Thanks!

Once you complete the challenge, if you leave the SparkTeam and rejoin, that will reset it and you should be on Day 1 again without all of the boxes on the calendar checked.

Hope that helps,

I've been doing this challenge every month for the last year. It covers my normal 3 day workout in the past with more variation. It has become my daily now. The calendar has checkpoints on each day . Is there any way to refresh it so the checks can be removed from the calendar. My biggest challenge is determining if I have done my day's work or not.
There must be n easy fix to clearing the calendar of the checkmarks.

Thanks.

You can't do it with just one click, unfortunately. You could create a grouping in your fitness tracker, or search for each one in our database. But I think the way you've been doing it works just as well.

Is there a way to add these exercises to my daily tracker as a group? I've been recording them as "Strength training bodyweight."

Hi there, Joined this challenge about 7 days ago and was doing great and then it just disappeared off of my page. I asked tech about it and they had no clue. No worries, I just rejoined, but thought you'd want to know.

Is there a printable version of the days of this challenge? I don't always have internet access and dont especially want to have to write down a week at a time and dont want to print out pages and pages of pictures.

There is no such thing as failure in my life, only altered goals.

Tasha also blogs about her sisu lifestyle with lots of knitting, spinning and dog walkies at sisugirl.wordpress.com

Depends on the exercise. Some moves can be done on the floor, it might just limit your range of motion a little.

Yep! For the best health benefits, you'll want to keep your heart rate in the cardio zone for at least 10 minutes at a time. But something is always better than nothing!

Hi, I'm at work and just signed up for this challenge. I don't get a break long enough to do 30 of cardio and eat too. (working 12.5 hour shift) I keep sneaking into the supply closet to do jumping jacks and running in place. emoticon Is it ok that I break up the 30 minutes like that?
