Sorry to hear that you are struggling. emoticon

A few things I can think of: Muscle weighs more than fat so if you are developing muscles, that could explain a very small weight gain. More importantly, though, is that whenever you work your muscles, they soak up water for the next day or so. That's why they say to not do strength training the day before weigh-in. You should idealy give your muscles at least one day rest in between ST sessions so they have time to recuperate. SP had an article here a few days ago that said to see weight loss, you should do at least five 50-minute sessions of cardio per week, which is 250 minutes -- and that is at target heartrate.

Also, I've heard that weight loss is 80% nutrition and 20% exercise. So even though you are doing some exercise, what are you doing nutrition wise? Are you tracking using the nutrition tracker? If not, I recommend starting. It's really an eye opener. SP will also tell you that WHEN you eat doesn't affect anything, but I know that like you, if I don't eat in the evenings, I do better. What I do is just eat something small instead of a big normal dinner. I don't go without totally, just try to eat a lot less.

so i have gained back some weight. I weighed last sunday at 221. Well i bought the active 2 game for wii and have been playing it. First few days i worked out about 15-20 mins, well yesterday i workedout 40 mins as well as i didnt eat past 3 pm. I had to work late shift last night so i know i burned off more cals at work as well. Today i get up and weigh in and i am almost at 225. Kinda discouraging since i am trying really hard to tone up and get in shape. I guess i am going to stop eating past 3 all together, and if i dont make it by 3 then im going to set the latest i can eat is 5 period.

I really dont know whats going on... Since this is only my first week working out. Im not sure if it is water weight or muscle starting to build (idk how long it takes to build muscle). I do know i feel a lot better now that i have began to workout though. I just have to stick with it.

Anything is possible if you try hard enough :-)
