I just finished W2D1 a few minutes ago and feel so invigorated! I don't know what it is about this program that does leave me wanting more. I am definitely NOT a runner, but I am very structured and I think I like knowing exactly how my workout is going to go. Good luck to everyone no matter where you are at in your training!

I'm on W2D4 and I'm starting to think I was nuts for starting this in August. The humidity here is making it so difficult. But, I started this (as a walker)and I want to finish this...as a runner!

I did it! I managed all the intervals for the first time. I guess that counts as my W2D1 then. I knew today was the day. I could feel it.

CEDWARD - I figured out that I don't like running/jogging either. I much prefer biking or swimming or even walking. HA! But this is a good goal and a good form of exercise. AND I am pushing myself. All benefical things.

Best to all.... emoticon

I struggled to do week 2 day 2 on yesterday. I think I've realized I am not really a runner. I really don't like it. But I don't know another way to accomplish my goals. Oh well, I better suck it up; I am supposed to begin week 2 day 3 tomorrow.

I am attempting W2D3 today. I haven't yet been able to complete all the intervals. I am going to stay on W2 until I can do all intervals and then start the count down to W3. Thanks for all the great support!

I complete W2D1 last night and felt GREAT considering when I was coming back it was up hill and of course my timing was such that I was on the running interval.

It DOES get better and the body does adapt. It's just pushing it a little further and harder than before and I know my body doesn't like me to push it.

When I finished I did W1D1C3 of the 100 Push up Challenge. A great nights sleep and a walk tonite w/my gals and I'll be ready to do it all again tomorrow!!!

Hi everyone!
Just joined the group today and I am finishing Week 2 this morning. I never thought I'd be a runner--ever! But who knew it would be so addicting?!! I absolutely LOVE it!! I am looking forward to my first 5k in September and an 8k in November...It boggles my mind I might actually attempt a 10k and a half marathon next year!! Wow! Totally exciting!! Best of luck to everyone and looking forward to running this journey with the rest of you!

I am starting week 2. Week 1 was not bad at all. Hope this week goes well.

I start Week 2 tomorrow. I was glad to read that some of you found the 90 sec run portion daunting and a struggle but pushed though and felt great by week's end. That 3 min run of Week 3 seems -- wow -- but by then I am sure I'll be fine and I shouldn't be thinking so far ahead anyway, LOL. Loving this program because it leaves me wanting more. My 3rd run of Week 1 felt AWESOME!

Just completed Week 2 of C25K outdoors today. I must say the final day was much easier than day 1. I am looking forward to beginning Week 3 Day 1 on Tuesday. Is anyone running for time and not distance? If so, how are you planning to get to the 3.10 miles, because I know I will not be able to do 5k in 30 minutes. Thanks for the input.

Hi! I am also doing week 2. Monday was my first workout of week 2. I am a surgery nurse; and I worked until 4:30 p.m. Monday. When I left work, I knew I had to be back at work at 7:00 p.m. for a call case. I drove home and jumped on my treadmill. I was soaked when I finished, so I just dried off, sprayed myself down with deodorant, pulled up my hair, and jumped back in my car to get back to work. I'm lucky I have to wear a cap and mask. Nobody really knows how bad I must have looked. Tomorrow is my 2nd training day this week, and Saturday will be my 3rd. Lots of luck with the training. I'm pretty excited about it!

I'm back from w2/d2 and I didn't die. I have bad calf cramping/ache especailly once I slow back down to the walk. Pushed thru it, it wasn't as bad as w2/d1. We can do this together!!!

I'm on W3D2 so just a week ahead...so let me just say that W2 at the beginning was soooo hard!! I wanted to quit so badly...but I didn't and pushed through! And then when I saw that Week 3 had me running for 3 minutes I thought to myself "How the HECK am I going to run for 3 when i could barely make it through 90 seconds???". But you know what - it hasn't been so bad! LOL So hang in there and before you know it, you will be a RUNNER!! We CAN do it...especially by doing it together!!

I'm just a little ahead of you and I'm at the finish line cheering you on...you can do it!

This is my second time training. I feel like week 2 day 1 was hard. I need to remind myself that it will get better. I went outside today to run for 30 minutes. Good luck!
