Never heard of them. It sounds like a good idea.
Saw A notebook the other day you can color and send to a friend.
Or you can send some pens and let them color it themselves.
Hope that you are doing well. Your friend in Fitness, Holly emoticon

Ah! What I meant by friendship book was a homemade thing. A tiny book that would weigh under 10g so it could be posted airmail without costing any extra postage. Each page would be just big enough to hold someone's address and just a few words about hobbies, age, etc. The book would be made for a penfriend, whose name you would write on the last page with "please return to:" You would then write your own name on the first page and pass it on to one of your other penpals, who would put their name in it (if they wanted to) and pass it on to someone else, etc. until the book was full, then the last person would send it to the person for whom it was made. At any point anyone receiving the book could write to anyone who had put their name in the book, so many friendships with people totally unconnected to you, and quite often from many different countries, could be made. It was great fun! :-)

I am not sure what you mean, but we used to make friendship books in school that had a page for each friend and questions for them to answer. I have one that was a store bought (published) one that I got in the 70s that I still have. It is interesting to see what people wrote, especially the older relatives that have died.

Peace and Many Blessings!
