It sure was a different time! I remember when there were cigarette commercials on TV...

I haven't seen The Post yet, but it's on my list. I also want to watch All the President's Men again. It feels like we're reliving those days...

History seems much more interesting as I get older. I loved The Post. To be honest, I didn't know much about the Pentagon Papers. I knew the Vietnam era was when Americans really started to not trust the government leading to films like Soylent Green and Logan's Run. Streep's performance was spot on. Hanks was excellent as well. As much as I despise smoking, there was some novelty with a high-end restaurant with ashtrays on the table. It was a very different time.
