I would count it- after all, cardio isn't just walking and treadmills-I track all activity, and heavy housework certainly counts for me!!! There are calorie calculators online that enable you to work out how much these activities burn. I have one here that says that wsshing the car burns up to 113 cals per hour-work out how long you took-that is a sgnificant figure!

I guess it's been awhile for this one, but I wouldn't count it. Those kinds of activities are calculated into our everyday calorie counts. If you broke a sweat doing it, then maybe but otherwise I wouldn't count it.

I washed both the car and my husbands truck today with my kids, does this count as any cardio? Maybe under the heavy housework catagory?? ! emoticon
