Do you have a store near you that specializes in running? I went to a running store where they did some different things to analyze my feet and stride and were able to recommend shoes that would work for my specific feet. My shins hurt horribly before getting those shoes and hardly at all afterward. Good luck!

In the past, when I would jog, I would suffer pain in my shins. I know that it has a lot to do with the impact against the surface you are running on and also about the muscles. I was wondering if anyone knows any ways to help prevent shin splints?

I have seen the tape thats suppose to help and also that it has to do with having a good pair of shoes. I have newer shoes but every time I buy shoes I always have troubles picking out the right pair for my feet, I feel lost when shoe shopping.

Any helpful advice would be greatly appreciated!.
